The Federal Government has released funds for payment of withheld salaries of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Federal Universities (NASU).
The Federal Government has also released funds for payment of benefits to retirees under the Nigerian Union of Pensioners Contributory Pension Scheme Sector ( NUPCPS) ,a statement from the office of the Accountant General of the Federation ( OAGF) said.
The office said that.many beneficiaries have confirmed receipt of payment.
The Federal Government under ex -President Muhammadu Buhari , withheld four months salaries of members of NASU for participating in the prolonged strike in 2022
