ECOWAS Defence Chiefs Meeting Underway in Abuja. 

Chiefs of Defence Staff of the Economic Community of West African Community ECOWAS are meeting in Abuja

The meeting, presided over by the Chairman,ECOWAS Defence Chiefs, General Christopher Musa of Nigeria has the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru,Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence, Ahmed Lawan and his House Counterpart in attendance.

Also attending the meeting are the representative of the National Security Adviser and service chiefs.

Although, the agenda off the meeting is not yet known, current matters gathered that the ongoing nationwide protest which has seen the hoisting of foreign flag and support for military take over might top the agenda.
