Three persons have been reported dead following a foiled robbery incident in Abaji branch of First bank in Abuja on Thursday.
A police Inspector identified as Habila was fatally shot while two of the 15- member robbery gang were killed.
Current matters gathered that a joint team comprising FCT Command police personnel and other security agencies arrived early to successfully foli the attempted robbery .
It was learnt that the police officer was shot when the robbers prior to the robbery, visited a nearby police office and shot mercilessly before opening fire on the bank.
The team of security agencies who thwarted the Attempted robbery included the FCT Police Commissioner CP Benneth Igweh, .
