Reports reaching current matters indicate that suspected Boko Haram insurgents have killed 6 persons including one Pastor Luka Levong of the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN) in Kwari, Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe state,North East Nigeria.
It was gathered that the insurgents invaded the community around 2:00 am on Friday and shot the pastor and his church treasurer Maina Abdullahi.
The terrorists also killed their other victims in their houses before the arrival of security men.
Reports say many houses including one church and vehicles were also set ablaze.
The incident comes days after Boko Haram insurgents opened fire on mourners in a community in Chibok Local Government Area of neighbouring Borno State State, killing 12 persons.
Current matters recalled that under the same period, some other criminals attacked two local government areas in Plateau state killing over 200 persons and rendered scores homeless amid severe injuries inflicted on them.
