At least five persons lost their lives when suspected herdsmen reportedly attacked Nimbo community in Uzo – Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Current matters gathered that the herdsmen swooped on the villagers during a funeral ceremony and killed five persons while other members of the community ran for their dear lives.
Nimbo , a rural community known for abundant agricultural produce has frequently been affected by Herders Invasion.
In August 2012, suspected Fulani Herdsmen killed two teenagers in the community.
Similarly,on April 25,2016, Fulani Herdsmen attacked the community and killed and maimed several people.
