
President Bola Tinubu’s administration says the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which traditionally holds on Wednesday has now been shifted to Monday.
The Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents shortly after the FEC meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Minister noted that FEC meetings would hold only where there are very pressing issues to be discussed.
Yesterday’s meeting was the second held since the President inaugurated his cabinet. The meeting also witnessed the swearing in of 3 new ministers – Environment,Youth Affairs and Minister of state for Youth Affairs
The first FEC meeting was held on August 28 ,one week after 45 ministers screened and confirmed by the senate were inaugurated.
