
The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has nullified the election of the Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ishaku Abbo.
Abbo was declared winner of the February 25 National Assembly elections under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to withdraw the Certificate of Return issued to Senator Abbo and issue the same to Rev. Amos Yohanna of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP
Meanwhile,Abbo has taken to his verified Facebook page saying ” The Court of Appeal in Abuja just voided my election. The gang up has temporarily worked.I will soon address the press” he said
