Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke says he will challenge the ruling of the election petition tribunal that sacked him as governor of the Osun State.
In a two versus one ruling, the Tribunal had declared Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the authentic winner of the election in the July 16 Gubernatorial election.
In a statement by his media aide, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke described the judgement of the governorship tribunal as “a miscarriage of justice”, vowing to challenge the ruling at the Court of Appeal.
Adeleke called the resolution in favour of Oyetola in respect of over-voting as “an unfair interpretation against the will of majority of voters”
He urged his supporters to remain calm saying he would appeal the judgement and expressed the hope that” justice wifi be done”.
