The death has occurred of a prominent leader of the Niger Delta Region, Alabotubo Charles Harry.
According to a statement signed by Chief Anabs Sara – Igbe,Harry was a rare gem and icon of Ijaw Nation, Kalahari land and Rivers State.
He was the National Treasurer of the Pan Niger Delta Forum ( PANDEF). He was also the founding Chairman of the Ijaw Republican Assembly ( IRA)
Harry was a politician and the Chairman of the Rivers Democratic Movement ( RDM). He was also an Environmental activist.
The statement said Harry was married to Mrs Blessing Charles’Harry with Children.
Sara – Igbe prayed for the repose of his gentle soul.
