The Nigerian Correctional Service( NCoS) has dismissed as false, reckless and mischievous publication by an online medium alleging that Peter Nwachukwu, husband of late Ekwueme singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu and notorious kidnapper from Taraba State, Wadume were among the escaped inmates of the Kuje custodial centre on June 5,2022.
The Spokesman of the NCoS, FCT Command,Mr Chukwuedo Humphrey disclosed to newsmen on Tuesday that the two inmates were still in custody.
According to him , efforts are ongoing to recapture all fleeing inmates adding ” The Controller- General NCoS,Haliru Nababa,is determined to continue to upscale the inmates welfare and safety”.
