Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC have stepped down their position on consensus option for the presidential primary ahead of the 2023 general election.
A chieftain of the party,Chief Joe Igbokwe announced this on Tuesday.
Igbokwe who is the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government on Drainage and Water Resources said the governors at a meeting said they want a free and fair process for all aspirants who purchased and submitted nomination forms
Meanwhile, the APC has further postponed indefinitely its screening of presidential aspirants.
