
The Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria,( AMCON) has seized 12 properties belonging to Chairman of Global Fleet Group,Jimoh Ibrahim over N69.4 billion debt
Ibrahim’s accounts which included Global Fleet Oil and Gas have also been frozen by AMCON.
,In a statement on Wednesday,,AMCON’s spokesman,Jude Nwauzor said the seizure of the properties located in Lagos and Abuja followed an order by Justice R.M Alkawa of the Federal High Court Lagos.
According to him, the properties were effectively taken over by the corporation through its Debt Recovery Agent-Pinheiro Legal Patners with the help of bailiffs and police officers directed by the court.
