The Honourable Minister of Defence (HMOD) Major General Bashir Magashi (Rtd), has observed Eid-el-Fitr prayers with troops of 3 Brigade Nigerian Army (NA) and members of thier families, at the Central Mosque Bukavu Barracks, Kano.
Delivering his sermon, the Imam, 3 Brigade NA, Major Sabiu Yusuf, enjoined all “to continue with the good deeds of Ramadan and always be ready to render assistance to the needy and less privileged in the society”.
Also, prayers were offered for peace and tranquility to prevail across the nation.
Immediately after the Eid-el-Fitr prayers, the Defence Minister was conducted round Bukavu Barracks and other NA facility within Kano metropolis
by the Commander 3 Brigade, Brigadier General Sinyinah Nicodemus, where he inspected Officer’s and Soldier’s accommodation, ongoing construction of accommodation for the Regimental Seargent Major (RSM) of 3 Brigade, as well as other ongoing construction works within Bukavu Barracks.
Present during the Eid-el-Fitr prayers was the Director, Directorate of Islamic Affairs, Brigadier General Shehu Mustapha and other muslim faithful.
