Federation Internationale de Football Association ( FIFA) has imposed a fine of 150,000 Swiss Franc on Nigeria following the uproar that greeted the defeat of the Super Eagles in the World Cup qualifier Return match against the Black Stars of Ghana on March 29 at the Moshood Abiola ( MKO) stadium, Abuja.
The 1-1 draw defeat and failure to qualify triggered the ire of fans who caused disorder that reportedly led to FIFA/ CAF doping official, Joseph Kabungo’s cardiac arrest and eventual death.
