Police officers attached to Special Tactical Squad ( STS )who went to Zamfara State for investigation were attacked, butchered by matchette- wielding men suspected to be bandits.
Current matters gathered that the patrol vehicle of the officers was attacked and matchette injury inflicted all over their heads and body.
Their condition at the moment appears very critical,a source said.
