Iliyasu Gadu, prolific serial writer, public analyst turns 60

Iliyasu Gadu one of our writers who turned 60 two days ago on Wednesday January 5, was a former foreign service officer with the Nigeria diplomatic missions in the former West Germany and the United Kingdom between 1987 and 1990.

Upon his return to Nigeria, he worked with some Media outfits in Lagos rising to position of Editor.

From there he was appointed as Senior Public Affairs Officer with the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited in Bonny, Rivers State and moved from there to become the National Assembly Liaison Officer of the Company in it’s Abuja Office.

Retiring voluntarily from the Company in 2013, he now writes for a number of national and online newspapers.

Gadu is married with Children
