Former Senator and Minister, Hajia Aisha Al- Hassan has passed away.
Al- Hassan popularly called Mama Taraba reportedly died in Cairo, Egypt .
She was aged 61.
Hajia represented Taraba Central Senatorial District at the Upper Legislative Chamber from 1999 to 2007. She was appointed Minister of Women Affairs under President Muhammadu Buhari’s first term in office.
