
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has imposed curfew on all entry and exit points of the state following recent killing of security personnel by unknown gunmen in parts of the state to
Wike in a statewide broadcast on Tuesday, said no vehicle will be allowed into or travel out of the state from 8pm to 6 am everyday beginning from Wednesday, April 28 until further notice.
The governor who noted that the killers of the three custom officials,five soldiers and policemen over the weekend were non residents of the state said Investigation was ongoing to ascertain their motive.
He added that the decision to restrict movement was aimed at checking the increasing rate of Insecurity in the state.
