Gunmen abduct Benue University students 

Gunmen on Sunday night, abducted unspecified number of students of the Federal University of Agriculture , Makurdi ( FUAM).

Mrs Rosemary Waku, the Director of Information, Protocol and Public Relations, disclosed this on Monday.

Waku said the students were taken away at gunpoint by their abductors but the number of students taken was yet to be established at press time.

The abduction comes barely a week after a similar incident occurred at Green Field University in Kaduna where about 20 students were kidnapped..

Three of the students, a male and two female were killed by their abductors while others are still in captivity.with their abductors demanding a ransom of N800 million.
