Nigeria begins roll out of vaccines as Speaker Gbajabiamala advises against playing politics with vaccine administration 

The Speaker of the House of Representatives,Femi Gbajabiamala has asked Nigeriars not to play politics with the roll out of the vaccines in the country.

Gbajabiamala who made this known while speaking at the formal roll out of Covid-19 vaccines in Abuja on Friday said that primary health was of utmost concern for all.

He said vaccination was not the end of the road as he advised those “who have been vaccinated to be mindful of the person that has not been vaccinated by wearing masks and still holding on to the protocols of Covid-19 before we achieve that level of health immunity.”

Dr Cyprian Ngon becomes the first Nigerian to take the first dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines administered by the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency NPHCDA Dr Faisal Shuaib.
