Ondo:Soldiers kill 4 kidnappers in fierce confrontation

Fighting between kidnappers and soldiers along Owo/ Ifon in Ose local government area of Ondo State has resulted in the death of four kidnappers and four soldiers seriously wounded.

It was gathered that the soldiers were on patrol and arrived at a spot where the kidnappers had held some travellers hostage.The kidnappers reportedly opened fire on the soldiers who responded immediately killing four of the kidnappers.

The state police command has confirmed the incident as men of the command have been drafted to comb the forest to arrest the Kidnappers

Spokesman of the command,Tee Leo Ikoro also said Investigation has commenced to bring the perpetrators to justice
