The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano has secured unconditional bail of three persons illegally detained by the disbandedd Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS.)
Obiano reportedly visited the SARS offices in Akwuzu,Ekwulobia and Neni on Saturday and said the Commissioner of Police in the state has released everyone detained illegally and that” everyone remanded by the order of the court will remain there until their cases are determined.”
The Governor had assured protesters that he would meet their demands of releasing all those illegally arrested by SARS and also sack the former SARS Commander of the state who became his Senior Special Assistant on Security ,James Nwafor,whom they accused of senselessly killing people in the state.

n response to the demand, Obiano on Thursday ,relieved Nwafor of his duties.
