The Oyo State Police Commissioner, Nwachukwu Enwonwu, says popular Ibadan serial killer will face two count charge of culpable homicide and escape from police custody
Enwonwu who disclosed this to newsmen in Ibadan while parading Shodipe along with other suspected criminals, revealed Shodipe as the killer of a woman during the time of his escape.
According to him,”we took his finger prints of the suspect in the first instance and cross checked it with the man we re -arrested now,it marched It is the same person and he has already confessed and confirmed that he is the one and told us what happened and how he ran away on that particular day.,”
” So we are going to take him to the court soonest because the legal advice has been received from the Director of Public Prosecution.In addition,we are going to charge him for offence of culpable homicide which is murder and offence of escape from lawful custody “
