Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC,Adams Oshiomole on Monday alleged that some members of the Progressives Governors Forum are using the Director General,Salihu Lukman, against him.
Oshiomole who made the allegation at the presidential villa on Monday, told the state house correspondents that he would not engage in a dirty fight with the DG.
According to him, they do not understand that it was not the office of the chairman that made him who he is but his pedigree from his days as a labourer in the textile industry to be the secretary of textile workers all over Nigeria and becoming the president of the NLC.
He accused the Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum of unilaterally appointing Lukman as DG of the Progressives governors forum adding that his attitude is not to reply to the noise that is coming from someone who says he is an employer and appointee of Progressives governors forum.
Lukman had accused Oshiomole of frustrating the newly inaugurated National Caretaker Committee to ensure that he is returned as Party’s National Chairman.
