
A prayer meeting organised to end cultism in Inen community of Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State ended abruptly as cultists reportedly stormed the venue , killed one and injured others.
The community had organised the meeting to seek God’s intervention into cult related killings in the local government area.
It was gathered that the cultists atacked the council hall, venue of the meeting and beat up the organisers while killing one person.
They were said to have regrouped the next day and attacked residents while laying ambush against worshippers
The State Governor,Udom Emmanuel had banned cult activities but the act goes on.Residents now live in fear as cultists have warned that they would kill anyone who stood in their way.
