One person is feared dead while four were critically wounded following a robbery operation in a hotel in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The robbers numbering about five persons, reportedly invaded the hotel located along stadium road at the weekend and attacked the customers that lodged in the hotel.
It was learnt that the robbers shot sporadically into the air and left two of their colleagues outside to scare residents while three others went into the hotel and robbed the lodgers of their valuables.
At the end of their operation, the lifeless body of a middle-aged man was said to have been found while the manager and three others who were critically wounded were rushed to the Ilorin General Hospital, Ilorin for treatment,.
The Police Public Relations Officer,Ajayi Okansanmi said the Command would commence full investigation as soon as it received briefing on the development.
