Chairman of Delta state chapter of NLC, Goodluck Ofobruku has been abducted by gunmen.
Current matters gathered that Ofobruku was kidnapped about 8 pm on Saturday while driving out of his house along Ibusa/Asaba road in Delta State.
The police in Delta state have confirmed the abduction to newsmen on Sunday in Asaba.
The Spokesman of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya said that the abducted NLC official was a victim of armed robbery attack . before he was abducted.
He said the gunmen were robbing in the street when the NLC official was driving out of his house.
The police PPRO said that the gunmen intercepted the vehicle of the labour official and forcefully took him to a nearby bush.
He disclosed that the command the command has dispatched a team of policeman to rescue the Labour leader
