Coronavirus hits Benue Government house,Wife of Governor, Son, test positive 

The wife of Benue State Governor,Dr Eunice Ortom ,Son , Secretary to the state government,Prof Anthony Ijohor and other top government officials have tested positive for coronavirus

Governor Samuel Ortom made this known on Saturday at a news conference.

He announced that the Chief of Staff,Terwase Orbunde and the Head of Service,Mrs Veronica Onyeke among others have tested positive for the virus

The governor said that though he tested negative, he along with other members of his family are going into isolation

He enjoined the people of the state to undergo testing to ascertain their status explaining that testing positive for coronavirus was not a death sentence
