Gunmen kidnap Judge in Sharia Court 

A judge at a Sharia Court in Bauren Zakat village in Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State was on Tuesday abducted at gunpoint.

The Man identified as Alhaji Hussaini Sama’ila was abducted by gunmen who broke into the court on Tuesday at about 3 in the afternoon

The attack comes amid Industrial action embarked upon by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria ( JUSUN) ,

The workers had on April 6 began a nationwide strike to demand financial autonomy for the Judiciary at the state level.
