An army of gunmen on Saturday ,stormed Rachael orphanage home located in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja and kidnapped 7 orphans.
The gunmen who reportedly had prior knowledge of the orphanage went straight to the orphans ‘rooms and abducted them at gunpoint.
Also abducted are the security guard at the orphanage and some neighbours.
It was gathered that the gunmen took their captives to a forest close by.
The FCT Police Command who confirmed the development said one of the victims has been rescued.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Maryam Yusuf disclosed that police have been deployed to the forest to rescue the remaining victims.
