
A former Managing Director of Finbank plc,Okey Nwosu and three other directors were on Tuesday, convicted by a Lagos-High Court for stealing over M18 billion from the bank.
Justice Lateefat Okunnu sentenced the suspects to 4 year jail term after ordering them to repay the money
Nwosu was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) alongside his directors,Dayo Famoroti, Danjuma Ocholi and Agnes Ebubedike before an Ikeja High Court on May 10, 2011 for alleged stealing and other financial crimes but pleaded not guilty to the offences.
