The Kaduna State Police Command on Thursday, paraded 82 suspects for various criminal offences in the state
One of them was a 30- year- old Army Corporal, Charles Thomson believed to have run away from military post in Borno State.
Thomson confessed killing his mother because she was a witch and justified the act by saying that he stabbed his mother to death while fighting with her because he saw her turn to a serpernt at night which infuriated him.
According to him, his mother was appearing and disappearing and when he went to her room,he saw her with a 10 year-old boy running around her which led to the fight
Thomson blamed the incident on lack of love between mother and son and his late mother’s habit of ridiculing him in public.
