US War On Iran: Saudi Shuts Down  Key Oil Pipeline As Pumping Station Come Under Severe  Houti Projectile Strikes

The Saudi authorities have shut down a key pipeline following barrage of projectiles which struck a key pipeline on Thursday.

In a statement on X on Friday, Saudi Arabia ‘s Ministry of Energy said the pipeline had been attacked and ” was shut down as a precautionary measure”

The shut down of the Saudi Arabia Key oil pipeline – Abqaiq – to Yanbu pipeline followed strike by Iran – allied Houti rebels on the facility.said to be the last remaining route for oil exports as a result of the close of the Strait of Hormuz.

With the shut down of the remaining route,Saudi Arabia has essentially ceased exporting oil, an X user said.

Meanwhile, the world continues to grapple with skyrocketing prices in petroleum products. Reports indicate surging gasoline prices in the US across states with the least being about $3:45 while most states pay between $5 and $6 to get a litre of gas.

As at Friday,a litre of fuel in Abuja sold for N1350 while filling stations in Port Harcourt sold between N1332-1340 .

The US and Israel war in Iran started on February 28 with large scale airstrikes by the two countries killing top Iranian leaders, family members and hundreds of school children in Tehran, the Iranian capital.
