An Army Lieutenant,Dr Samson Haruna has died after his wife allegedly set fire to him over domestic issues.
Haruna, reportedly graduated as a medical doctor and joined the Army. He married his wife,a nurse in April 2025 .
Current matters gathered that the wife in a fit of rage over suspicions of infidelity allegedly resorted to killing her husband by setting him ablaze
The incident occurred on September 22,2025 at Wellington Bassey Barracks in Akwa Ibom State.
It was learnt that the victim was rushed to the Military Hospital for treatment and later to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital where he passed away.
Meanwhile, his wife has been arrested and is currently police custody awaiting arraignment
