President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Katsina, the home state of the late former president, Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away in a London hospital on Sunday.
Tinubu:s aircraft ( not Air force One) but obviously a chartered plane touched down about 1:30pm local time.
The president was welcomed by an army of politician and security personnel.
Earlier, the First Lady clad in black arrived with her entourage to pay her last respect to the former president, described by many as humble and integrity personified.
At the moment, the remains of the late president conveyed by Airforce 1 , accompanied by the Vice president have arrived the Katsina airport for onward journey to Daura, the late president’s home town and final resting place of the former president.
