Another Chibok school girl has been rescued by the Joint Task Force in the North East – Operation Hadin Kai.
The young woman identified as Ehi Abdul 27, was found with two of her children during a recent operation by Sector One of Operation Hadin Kai in the Sambisa forest.
Ehi was among several school children that were abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in April 2014 in Government Secondary School,Chibok,Borno State.
The development was announced by Major General Waheed Shuaibu during a formal handover ceremony at the Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri on Monday.
According to General Shuaibu,Ehi was married to a notorious terrorist known as Abu Dada who abandoned her in Gwoza in 2014 and subsequently fled to Senegal .
Ehi and her children have been handed over to the Borno Government for rehabilitation and reintegration.
On its part, the Zulum -led Government has reiterated its commitment to supporting the rescued individuals with care and
assistance to enable them fully integrate into society .
