Ahmed Usman Ododo,winner of the November 11 Governorship election in Kogi state has taken the oath of office in a grand ceremony at Muhammadu Buhari square,Lokoja.
The event which took place Saturday January,2024 witnessed the handover of power by the former governor, Yahaya Bello to Ododo and attended by dignitaries including the Vice president,Kashim Shettima, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje and other top party men and women.
Ododo, said to be a kinsman of the ex -governor, Bello was born in February 1982 and hails from the Igbira ethnic group.
The new governor just like his former boss is an accountant .
He is married to Aisha Ododo,a businesswoman and both are blessed with 3 children.
