The Court of Appeal in Abuja has nullified the election of Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State.
A three – member panel of Justices on Thursday voided the election and ordered a rerun in three local government areas of the. state.
The affected LGAs are Maradun,Birnin Magaji and Bukuyun.
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC had declared Lawal of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP winner of the March 18 Governorship election in the state.
The Election Petition Tribunal in the state upheld Lawal’s election but the All Progressives Congress APC and its candidate,Bello Matawalle appealed the judgement.
