The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the timetable and schedule for the 2027 general elections.with presidential election slated for 20th February.
The Commission’s Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan made the announcement during a press conference in Abuja on Friday.
Amupitan explained that the announcement was made in accordance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution and the Electoral Act, 2022 (as amended).
He disclosed that the governorship, senatorial, and other elections are scheduled for March 6, 2027.
