The Kebbi State Government has enacted a law that would sentence anyone caught giving information to bandits to death or 25 years imprisonment
The development followed a recent attack by bandits in some villages under Zuru emirate, which claimed thirty lives..
Governor Nasir Idris made the announcement in Zuru while paying a condolence visit to Kebu and Tadurga communities in zuru emirate.
The governor also advised people in the state especially elder statesmen to refrain from politicizing insecurity in the state which he described as a setback to the fight against banditry and kidnapping in the state.
