The National Youth Service Corps,NYSC has announced that the coordinator of Akwa Ibom State ,Mr Okun Christopher and Driver, Daniel Effiong Asibong are missing.
The Director , Press and Public Relations,NYSC ,Eddy Megwa disclosed this to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.
Megwa said Mr Christopher and his Driver were traveling for an official assignment on Monday, July 29,2024 when they were abducted between Delta and Akwa Ibom states.
He said since their abduction,all efforts to locate their whereabouts have proved unsuccessful.
He said they were traveling in a white Hilux vehicle with registration number 27D31FG adding ” Anyone with useful information regarding their whereabouts should contact any of the 37 NYSC state secretariats ,area offices and National Directorate headquarters in Abuja or the nearest police station or other security agencies .
