The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Babajide Sanwo – Olu as Governor of Lagos State.

Justice Garba Lawal who read the lead judgement dismissed the appeal filed by the Rhodes Vivour, the governorship candidate of the Labour party.

The judge held that the deputy governor was duly qualified to contest the election.

Meanwhile, the governors of Bauchi, Bala Mohammed,Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau and Yusuf of Kano are in the Supreme Court waiting for their judgement as tension envelopes governors and supporters.
