
A Federal High Court in Abuja has rejected a fresh lawsuit challenging the age and citizenship of the President -elect Bola Tinubu.
The suit which aimed to to stop May 29 inauguration of Tinubu and his deputy, Kashim Shettima.alleged discrepancies in age and citizenship in the documents Tinubu submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission( INEC)
In his ruling Friday,Justice James Omotosho described the action by the plaintiffs- Praise Ilemona Isaiah, Pastor Paul Isaac Audu, and Anongu Moses as ‘frivolous’ and an ‘abuse of court process’.
The judge said that the plaintiffs lacked the locus standi to file the suit adding that the court lacked jurisdiction to hear it .
