Many feared missing as boat capsizes in Bayelsa. 

Unspecified number of people are feared drowned in a boat mishap in Bayelsa state.

Current matters gathered that the boat conveying people from Yenagoa to Okpoama in Brass local government area of Bayelsa State capsized on Thursday,

The incident reportedly happened when the boat carrying passengers and goods sank in the middle of the Okoroma River in Nembe local government area of the state.

It was learnt that the passengers whose identities and number are yet to be made known also had children among the missing .

A source told this publication that search and rescue efforts are underway.
