Gunmen on Monday killed a major of the Nigerian Army around a border town between Imo and Anambra States.
Major CC Orji was reportedly murdered in cold blood in Ekeotutu market.
Killings in Imo and surroundings have continued unabated with security personnel becoming targets and victims of gunmen whose identities prove difficult to unravel.
On the 6th of August,2022, Gunmen attacked Agwa Divisional Police Headquarters in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State and killed four policemen.
