
The Rivers High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has restrained the Peoples Democratic Party PDP from holding party Congress scheduled to hold on 27 July,2024. or any other date.
Ruling on a motion exparte filed by Hon. David Chinedu Omereji and 10. Others with the PDP,The National Chairman, National Financial Secretary and the National Organising Secretary as Defendants on Tuesday, the presiding Judge, Justice Sobere Biambo ordered the defendants from taking decisions or further extend the already expired tenure of the last State , Local Government and Ward elections in Rivers State.
The case was adjourned to 19th July for hearing on the motion on notice with the number PHC/ 2282/CS/ 2024.
