The Senator representing Ondo Central in the National Assembly, Senator Patrick Ayo,Akinyelure has reportedly retrieved vehicles he donated to leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in the state after he failed to secure a third ticket to return to the National Assembly on Monday.
Akinyelure who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions scored 58 votes behind Ifedayo Adedipe ( SAN) who received 82 votes to win the ticket..
current matters gathered that the Senator’s decision to retrieve the cars was borne out of dissatisfaction with the manner the election was decided and the betrayal by party leaders he empowered with cash and vehicles to return him for a third time in office.
