The Senator representing Adamawa Central District, Aisha Dahiru Ahmed- Binani has won the All Progressives Congress APC Governorship primary by a landslide.
Binani scores 430 votes while her closest rivals,Nuhu Ribadu, Former EFCC Chairman and Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow, immediate past governor of the state scrored 288 and 103 respectively to clinch second and third place.
Abdulrazaq Namda scored 94 votes, to place fourth while Wafari Theman polled 89 to get fifth place.
Binani had previously served in the House of Representatives for Yola North/ Yola South/ Girei Federal Constituency. Her followers believe she is a fighter and would leave no stone unturned in succeeding incumbent governor, Ahmadu Fintiri ( PDP)come 2023 general elections.
