Gunmen suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB) have reportedly burnt the Nnewi South Local Government Area Council Secretariat at Ukpor in Anambra State.
The incident happened on Thursday morning but the number of victims were yet to be ascertained at press time.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state,Mr Tochukwu Ikenga said it was a case of arson saying investigation was ongoing and the Fire service had been deployed to be scene.
