Gunmen Attack Ebonyi Police Station, Policemen, IPOB Members Reportedly Killed 

Unknown gunmen on Sunday attacked the divisional police headquarters in Unwana,Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State reportedly leaving a number of deaths.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, disclosed in a statement in Abakaliki, the state capital that the command swung immediately to repel the attack.

Although the number of casualties on the side of the police and the gunmen was sketchy at the time of writing the report, current matters gathered that the death toll might be heavy.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that no fewer than 3 police officers and 8 of the gunmen suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB) were gunned down by superior gun power from the state police force.
